Metmonkey.co.za is a privately run aviation weather web site, offered free to its users. Our intention is to create effective aviation weather information communication by creating new forms of presenting the flying weather info we need. We are not a weather service, nor intend to be. We try where possible to fill in the gaps between WSA and the real weather. The system is self funded as such from time to time we experience connection problems due to limited back up systems in place, this all costs money and we can only work with that we have funds for. Your support is appreciated as it will help us grow and supply better real time information to help you. We are always open to your feedback, comments and suggestions so please feel free to email us at any stage. Also we can not monitor the system 24/7 so we appreciate a heads up if something is broken or wobbly. We are currently still working on a new improved site with more unique custom weather info, but sadly due to high costs of development its taking a little longer than expected, stay tuned.
